From 1931 to 1972, government researchers from the Center for Disease Control conducting the infamous Tuskegee Syphilis Study, left hundreds of Black men untreated for decades to study the disease’s debilitating and sometimes deadly effects.
In 1951, tissue was taken from a Black cancer patient in Baltimore without his consent. The tissue was used to create a cell line for medical experiments.

“In a world where everyone is guilty, the only crime is getting caught. In a world of thieves, the one final sin is stupidity.” — Hunter S. Thompson
As the conflict over the results of the 2020 presidential election continues, Hunter’s observation seems truer now than ever. After four years of the Democrats trying to steal the presidency from Trump, how can anyone believe they would not perform one last-ditch effort to steal his re-election?
But as half the world rallies around Biden as the winner, I am amazed at the number of Trump policies he has come to endorse…
What do Tom Brady, Socialist Democrats, and criminals have in common?
They play offense.
What about Republicans and the police?
They are always on the defense.
Offense = Action
Defense = Reaction
My son-in-law is a Dallas Cowboys fan and whenever they play on California television, we watch the game together. He invariably says things about the other team like, “Oh, these guys have a great defense.” Or “We won’t be able to score because their defense is the best in the league.” My favorite is, “Our defense sucks!”
Every time he does that, I remind him that defense doesn’t…
Last month, my Daughter made plans for her and her family and another family of four to go to Maui for a week during Christmas. Eight people total. Flights, hotels, reservations all made, and beachwear bought.
The airline insisted every passenger take a COVID test 72 hours before boarding. As the days counted down, all were excited and a little worried.
When test day finally came, all four of the family members who were joining them passed with negative results. Two of my Daughter’s family passed, as well. But she and her daughter, my granddaughter, did not. …
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the seat. In the world of Trading, it’s the nut that connects the keyboard to the desk chair. You may experience power-outages, a slow internet, platform freeze-ups, exchange issues, and a host of other mechanical problems, but they will pale compared to the problems you cause yourself.
Follow these rules and you may be able to avoid most, if not all of them.
Bikers and Traders both start life with a full pot of luck and an empty pot of experience. …
People asked, “What would life be like with four more years of Trump?” Others asked the same of a world run by Joe Biden. But I’m more worried about my life in 15, 20, 25 years from now. Since I should have at least five more chances to vote, I worry more about future elections.

Believe it or not, there are still cities in America where it is more difficult, if not impossible, for Black People and other minorities to get a mortgage.
In an article titled, “Cities Where Black Homebuyers are Least Likely to get a Mortgage,” by Tendayi Kapfidze, we found Sacramento to be number 5 on the list.¹
To be fair, the author did not say or use data that explicitly alleged discrimination. The only criteria for getting on the list was the percentage of loans that were declined. In Sacramento’s case, approximately 20 percent of all loans were denied. But 39.5…
When grammatically fixed, the slogan reads, “Build It Back Even Better.”
Build it back would suggest that “It” was somehow dismantled, disabled, or destroyed, and needs to be built back up. “It” refers to Trump’s economy — not Obama’s — and the phrase proves that “It” was, indeed, the best ever. By adding the word “Better”, the slogan allows them to feel good about having destroyed “It” in the first place.
The entire interpretation, when spelled out then is;
“Build Back the Incredible Trump Economy so that It is Even Better than It was Before We Destroyed It.”
Why would a young woman open a carton of Blue Bell Ice Cream out of a Wal-Mart freezer, lick all around the top of it, then put it back? Why would her boyfriend put a video of her doing the licking on the internet? Why would a large but disconcerting number of people enjoy watching her?

The government shutdowns of the past were the “sky-is-falling” crises that flooded the news channels. Allegedly, 800,000 workers were either working without getting paid, or temporarily laid off.
Another news crisis was the shortage of “qualified” workers created by the success of the Trump Economy. That businesses and their people were making money and having fun again was never reported, but the inability of companies to find enough workers was.
The fact that there are 800,000 people employed by the government, who are apparently dispensable, should bother you. …
